Claude Earl Fox is President and sole owner of Med Plus Disability Evaluations. Dr. Fox established the company 16 years ago and now operates in 17 states. He has personally performed more than 70,000 evaluations for social security and state disability over the last 30 years. In addition to his activities with Med Plus, Dr. Fox is Research Professor with the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Previously he was Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and founding director of the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute. He also served in the federal Department of Health and Human Services as Director of the U.S. Public Health Service Regional Office in Philadelphia, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Health in Washington, D.C. and finally as Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Agency. From 1986 to 1992, Dr. Fox was State Health Officer for the Alabama Department of Public Health. He is a Fellow in the American College of Preventive Medicine, an Honorary Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and in addition to his medical degree, has a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. |
